Full Moon in Libra, Release, Reflect & Balance...
A time to reflect on the beauty and gifts of light and dark...
Dear Seeker of Petals and Reveries! 💛
“I open to harmony, beauty and truth. With every inhale, I am renewed and return to balance. With every exhale I release decay and what no longer serves. Love is my compass. Peace is my power.”
Zera DeRose, The Rose Temple
Welcome to the Pink Full Moon! Above is an affirmation for you to use on this beautiful luminous moon in Libra. All moon phases are special but there is something about this one that feels a little bit extra special. Perhaps because the moon is in Libra. A sign ruled by Venus, the planet of love, beauty, desire and harmony. Venus, also ended her retrograde cycle yesterday, as if to say, “I am ready to be fully seen and move forward!” She is in her full expression of the Morning Star now, a light bringer and a bringer of harmony. What a beautiful cosmic dance taking place between the moon, Venus and Libra, don’t you think?
Libra is the sign of balance, justice and sacred union. It seeks symmetry, not just aesthetically but also in relationships, and in the soul’s alignment with truth. Libra seeks to be fair with all. Libra desires beauty whether it be through music, art, poetry, food or clothing. Indeed, Libra is the seeker of harmony, in all things. Libra teaches that love is a sacred art, not a reckless storm. Under Venus’s rule, Libra becomes the High Priestess of love and ceremony. She is seeking authentic connections, seeking truth in dialogue and honouring others without losing herself. Libra is a poet of love, a keeper of the sacred scales and the embodiment of grace in motion.
However, there is a shadow side to Libra, just as the moon has a shadow side. She can be prone to people pleasing, avoidant of conflict. over intellectualising emotions, and at risk of losing herself in pursuit of peace and validation of self through others. (I know because I have been there. I am a Libra rising with Libra south node!)
So what does the Moon in Venus ruled Libra say? “Let all things be beautiful, true and in balance with the soul.” And how can we balance our soul? By the integration of light and dark. We can begin by recognising the beauty of the dark within us. The dark space is one of beauty and fertile soil for which all things are born. All things are first seeded in the dark before they are birthed into the light. Everything! In the rich soil of darkness, the greatest transformations and rebirth can happen.
Your heart is a garden—tend it well, and it will bloom with love in every season.🌹

This full moon, you could work with duality. Work with the sacred scales of light and dark. If you like to work with goddesses, Inanna would be a perfect one, as you may already know how Venus and Inanna are linked. However, in case you don’t, Venus takes a journey to the underworld for approx 9 months. She is out of sight for 8 days and reappears as the Morning Star. Inanna also journeyed to the underworld before returning to the earthly realm. This of course is another topic of conversation but I just wanted to highlight the connection. It doesn’t necessarily need to be just the full moon you work with. You could turn it to something cosmically rich with symbolism. Use the power of all 3 to bring in deep release and healing! In a meditative journey I did a couple of months, I kept hearing, “The power of 3!” Perhaps it was in preparation for this full moon?! Below I have included tarot prompts for you to use, should you wish. You may already have your own prompts.
"The path of the mystic is a rose-lit spiral—each thorn a teacher, each petal a revelation, and at the heart, the fragrance of the Divine." 🌹

The Power of Three…
1 - Body: What part of me has been hidden in shadow, and how can I honour its wisdom?
This card reveals a part of yourself - physical, emotional or instinctual - that has been silenced or judged. Libra invites you to bring it into sacred balance, not to fix anything, but merely to listen. Let your body be the altar. Let darkness be the soil.
2 - Soul: What truth within me seeks to be integrated between my light and dark self?
This card speaks to your soul’s current being, the merging of opposites, the union of your radiant and raw self, and your sacred and shadowed self. What truth can only be revealed through contrast?
3 - Cosmos: What cosmic mirror is Venus holding up to me under this Full Moon, and how can I align with its message?
This is your larger invitation, your mythic, Venusian echo. It may be about love, beauty or embodiment, but it also may be a deeper calling to trust the rhythm of creation itself. What does the Universe want me to remember through reflection?
As the sun is radiantly reflected in tonight’s full moon, we too are invited to reflect. Look at these tarot prompts. Feel into them. Grab a mirror, or stand in front of the mirror and ask to be shown what needs to be revealed. Ask for the answers to be reflected back to you as you gaze into your eyes. Take a moment to connect to your soul through the lens of your own eyes, not the eyes of others. Breathe in deeply the scent of the Rose and exhale any of the wilted petals within you. Breathe in life, exhale decay, what no longer sustains you. Do this before you ask your reflection the above questions, and again after mirror gazing. Then you can begin journaling and see what is illuminated. See what wisdom is channeled through your hands.
And, as this is a Pink Moon, burn a pink candle if you have one. Call in the beautiful pink ray of love and feel its light embrace you in divine love. Allow it to illuminate the rich deep soil of your darkness so that you can tap into the infinite wisdom that rests as a seed waiting to sprout, waiting to break through the soil into daylight. This is truly a magical moon to work with!
So my dear friends, that’s all from me for now. I hope you have enjoyed this writing from me. I am always open to hearing from you. May the Libra Full Moon illuminate you with love, peace, truth, beauty and harmony. May she help you see the gifts in the dark.
Until we meet again in the garden of the Rose…
With love & gratitude,
Zera 🌹✨
